Anorexic is called any person who is diagnosed with anorexia nervosa.
Anorexics generally feel themselves being fat and has intense fear of becoming fat.
Anorexic people try to control the amount of food that they eat. Many anorexic people feel they are not deserving the joy of life.
Anorexic people usually start being anorexic by starving themselves and controlling their eating habits.
Anorexics have often deprive themselves of situations that offer pleasure. Excessive exercise, obsessive fear of gaining weight, self induced vomiting (bulimia), over usage of laxatives, diuretics as well as diet pills and a persistent concern with body image can all be some of the social and physical signs of someone suffers from Anorexia Nervosa.
Individuals often called Anorexics may also go through periods of bulimia and other psychological disorders.
Anorexic people can cook for others, relatives or family members but they usually don't eat the meals they cook.
Anorexia Treatment should be the first thing to do when Anorexia signs occur. Anorexic individuals may have psychological and medical treatments and their family members should have counseling sessions also.
Anorexic people, parents, brothers or sisters and other relatives should attend to these counseling also.
There are number of organizations to help anorexics by attending group therapy or individual therapy with a registered dietitian.
